Information
The MPU typically takes 2 to 4 hours and consists of three parts: a medical examination, performance tests, and a psychological interview.
A doctor checks your general health. For alcohol or drug MPUs, blood and/or urine samples are taken. This part takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
This is the most important part of the MPU. A traffic psychologist conducts an in-depth interview lasting approximately 45–75 minutes. The interview covers your history, problem awareness, behavioural changes, and strategies for preventing relapse.
Honesty is decisive. Assessors can immediately distinguish memorised answers from genuine self-reflection. This is exactly what we prepare you for at NEUSTART.
